Ages 6-11 A ukulele is easier to learn than the guitar. Its soft nylon strings are gentler on one’s fingertips, Plus, it only has four strings, which makes the basic chord and scales easier to learn. No class on Feb 20

Cronin Memorial Ice Skating Rink $50

Ages 4-12 with or without experience
Certified instructors teach the mechanics and proper techniques of ice skating. Gives participants the best foundation for recreational skating, figure skating, hockey, or speed skating. Bring your own helmet and gloves. Skates rental is free. Chelsea residents only.
Two (2) session maximum per person annually. Must register in person at the Williams Building, 180 Walnut St.

Ages 8-12 Consist of games that can easily be played and replicated anywhere and with little equipment. Play fast-paced games such as Capture the flag, Wiffleball, jump rope, and Kickball. All participants worked together as a team to try to score the most points for each game played. *Free to Chelsea Public School students

With a parent in the pool, infants and toddlers earn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills. Parents learn about water safety and drowning prevention.
Ages 3-5
Learn safe water habits, underwater exploration, and how to swim to safety and exit the water. Lessons are a mix of activities games and drills.
Ages 5-12
Starting with water safety and basic swimming competency. Kids progress to learn about the four competitive swimming strokes.

New Energy Martial Arts $45

Ages 6-13 Develop skills in self-defense, coordination, balance and strength in a well-rounded martial arts program. Study Kempo, Ju-jitsu, Goju-ryu and sparring techniques. Learn the history of martial arts, how to handle stressful situations and conflict resolution skills.

Amazing Archaeology Fair at Harvard Museums of Science & Culture Cambridge, MA $5 person

All ages Experience an epic day of archaeological events with the family! Activities are scattered across two museums so you can explore Native North American, Central American, Egyptian, Mesopotamian and Mediterranean archaeology. Immerse yourself in a 3-D view of the Phoenician burial ground. Talk to student archaeologists who excavated in locations around the world. Registrants provide their own transportation. Teaching Preschoolers Money Skills FREE

Using the museum as a site of exploration, teens experimented with creative approaches inspired by their experiences in museum galleries. The program is a partnership with Harvard Museums of Science & Culture and local Latino/a/x communities in Chelsea and Somerville MA.

Ages 9-13 Are you interested in law? Using the Rules of Evidence, participants learn how to introduce documents, and conduct a direct cross-examination. The class culminates in a trial in front of a judge and jury. Full participation in this course is mandatory!
