About the Workout Routes
The neighborhood of Admiral’s Hill was developed in the early 1980s after the closing of the Chelsea Naval Hospital and military base. Prior to that, it was the oldest naval hospital in continuous service since 1836. Several of the original buildings still remain as private residences and condos.
President John Quincy Adams and President John F. Kennedy were among the many famous patients at that hospital.
