Apply for a Park Permit


The Chelsea Recreation & Cultural Affairs Division issues permits for a variety of activities in municipal parks & on public ways. Permits are required for groups of 10 or more individuals who wish to use an Athletic Field (including courts) for sports practices & games or hold a Special Event such as a: festival, charity walk, parade, or concert. Beginning November 12, 2018, Special Event applications need to be submitted at least 45 days prior to the event.
